The gameplay is very fun but after the two thirds of the game it grew stale for me, I do not believe the enemy variety was high enough to have kept me engaged and I am also not the type of person that found a lot of fun in many of the unlockable skills which mainly consist of additional combos or such rather than completely new abilities that might change your approach in combat. The fact is that this is simply an amazing video game for which my expectations might have been a bit too ludicrous due to the high praise this experience gets.

The gameplay is fun enough but it’s not challenging. You’re here for the story and the visuals and thankfully it delivers on both fronts. I like these kinds of game, they have an Ending and don’t encourage you to grind your hours away. It is fun to collect all the treasures and achievements, but ultimately this is a story and when it’s done it’s done. The gameplay is fun enough but it’s not challenging. It’s one of the greats from the Playstation and I’m glad it was ported to PC.
