About The Game
SQUID GUYS , is a Third-Person Multiplayer game. You play through several different deadly challenges based on children’s games. The game continues until the last player stands. Glass bridge – Players are presented with a large bridge divided into 2 paths. Each path has a thin line of glass, some are tempered and can support the weight of 2 players, the others can’t even support one player, you must use your wits and luck to make it to the other side. Red light, Green light – Players must stop when the doll is see you, they may go when the doll is turn a head back, you will have 30 seconds to get across the courtyard. Squid Tag – players must play catch up with each other in order to snatch one of the squids available for themselves. There aren’t enough squids for all of the players, so hurry up and watch your back! Bomb tag – players must avoid bombs and dispose of them as soon as possible by giving it to other players. Those who don’t have a bomb when the time is up win. Knife Tag – players must hide from the seeker with knives, those who are found are eliminated.
This is a great romp through the post apocalyptic wasteland, and it improves upon Wasteland 2 in almost every way. Naturally the graphics are much improved, but so it the game play. The key difference is that the weapons are balanced much better than in Wasteland 2, where assault rifles ruled and you had to build around them. Now almost every weapon is viable, meaning that you have many more viable builds, which makes the game much more interesting. The story is also very interesting, and you have a number of choices you can make with respect to the end, which really didn’t exist in Wasteland 2.
In addition, the companions that you gain are more interesting (they have their own stories) and have better beginning stats so they are much more viable early on than in Wasteland 2. It is shorter than Wasteland, but that’s not all bad – Wasteland 2 sort of dragged at the end. But even if it is shorter, there’s still tons to do, it’s easily a 40+ game, which is plenty. This is really a great game, More streamlined than Wasteland 2 (which is also great), and gaves much better postapocalytpic feel than new Fallouts (which became more of parody of 50-60s Ameriica). If you like tactical combat, and an RPG when you choices matter (and are not simply good/evil ones), this is a game for you (one note – you are not playing as person but as team of Rangers). Besides that, the absolutely phenomal soundtrack – i really do not remember stopping to listen to music during bigger fights in other games, and here the very first “boss” battle gave me the goosebumps.
