In Starbound, you create your own story – there’s no wrong way to play! Make use of hundreds of materials and over two thousand objects to build a sleepy secluded cabin in the woods, a medieval castle, underwater arcade, or even a space station. Starbound has been built from the ground up to be multiplayer and easily moddable. You have the tools to make the universe your own and modify the game to suit your play style – add new items, races, planet types, dungeons, and quests – the possibilities are limitless.

Starbound Pre-Installed:
Starbound is a game with so much potential, and its such a shame that people were overworked on it. In the vanilla game, after playing a little it gets really boring and, at least in my opinion, building becomes the only fun part. On that, this games potential for building structures in incredible. There are so many objects and blocks to build almost whatever you want, and the mods only enhance that. With the actual gameplay, however, it gets boring fast. You go to a planet, get the resource, build better armor and weapons, go to the next planet until you realize you spend 2 hours getting the best stuff and trivializing most of the missions. I come back to this constantly with friends to restart and finish the game. Its so fun and SO creative! I love the creative aspect a lot, making homes for every NPC possible, making hotels for travelling merchants kitchens for chefs in restaurants, homes for various NPCs and so on! I made a a planet just for myself too! Its very very fun if your a creative spirit! Its fun even if you arnt tho of course.

- Once the game is done downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to” (To do this you must have 7-Zip or winrar, which you can get here).
- Double click inside the Starbound folder and run the exe application.
- Thats all, enjoy the game! Make sure to run the game as administrator and if you get any missing dll errors, look for a file named All In One Runtimes.exe run this and install it.
