The major focus I have on this game is the stamina meter, because it’s just important. SoD2 allowed people to sprint forever (even if their stamina ran out) and shake off zombies very easily, but SoD1 forces you to stick with your stamina meter. If your stamina runs out, you will be vulnerable, because you run slower, do actions slower and zombies could easily overtake you, thus items that replenish your stamina would really come in handy. My biggest con this game offers is babysitting. Just like SoD2, you have to do repetitive missions during your run. HOWEVER, they don’t appear as often as in SoD2 and you can simply just ignore them, decreasing your morale (happiness) on your community which can be easily increased again. It’s not a huge issue, but it will annoy some players on their playthrough. With an almost 1400 hour combined playtime in this edition and the original, I have to say, that this is the best game of this kind I’ve ever played.
