I wanted to like the first Street Outlaw game but having to do all the other types of racing was boring, time attack here, stunt here, laps here, I just wanted to drag race. This game delivers. I appreciate how this game tries to make drag racing feel real, you do your burn out, bump into position to stage and then you wait for lights out on the tree and you’re racing. I’m not saying it’s realistic, but it’s fun and I get a rush when I get a perfect launch with 4 perfect shifts. Tuning the car to be stable can be a trick, and figuring out what each opponent wants to wager can be difficult, but overall it’s really solid game. The mods you can get change the dynamic of the car greatly and allow for new setups as you get new mods. Also collecting a crew and getting them experience is good system as well. Would I recommend this game? Yes I would. As a fan of the show and a automotive enthusiast the game is great to sit and have fun for a couple of hours.
