STUFFED is a procedurally generated, horde first-person shooter, that takes place in the dreams of a little girl. Play as a teddy bear and fight waves of nightmares as you defend your owner. Play solo or join your friends in up to 4 player online co-op. Defend your owner’s bedroom door and defeat a variety of nightmares in endless waves. Earn points from defeating nightmares and use them to unlock new map areas and weapons. From a popcorn grenade to a jelly bean shotgun, find and use unique weapons made from household objects. Earn XP in to unlock special player abilities each game session. Use points to unlock new outfits and furs for your teddy bear. Mix and match outfits and furs to fully personalise them. This game despite its imperfections, is a dream come true for fans of COD: Black Ops Zombies fans that want a version of the zombie mode, with touches of cuteness. You play as a stuffed teddy bear protecting a girl named Ellie (ironically) from nightmares that are trying to infect her dreams. Fun with friends and good for a different game to play.
When the game worked for multiplayer, it was pretty fun. Unfortunately, most of the session was spent with one person out of three stuck on a loading screen and not able to play. Melee was abysmal as you were more than likely going to take a hit while trying to get yours in. There was also a few crashes between us during the four hours. Finally, there seemed to always be a small delay when trying to open doors or buy items. Big Beefy was a win though. This game is INCREDIBLY FUN! Imagine COD Zombies!. It is such a vibe!. Love the weapons in the game, super creative and the animations are awesome. The bears are adorable and I love that we can customize them as well. I was genuinely surprised at how fun this game is. The music slaps, the controls are good, the design is charming. Overall very satisfying, but I will say that it feels very sisyphean without help

The story and dialogue is quite well written, the voice acting is very good, the aesthetics are nice, the sound design is good, the graphics are good, the in-game systems are logical and almost entirely intuitive. I had no need to look up anything online to use the in-game systems or complete any amount of the game; it all worked well and made sense. I’d say that the kind of ratings I’ve seen for the game online of around 86% are fair. Considering the Devs had to invent a whole new thematic universe for the game, I’d say they deserve high marks. If you’re expecting FONV in space, you’ll probably be disappointed, but if you treat it like the new IP it is, you’ll probably enjoy it. I had no need to look up anything online to use the in-game systems or complete any amount of the game; it all worked well and made sense.
