About The Game
5 years have passed since civilization fought against the virus, but nothing has changed. The world lays in pieces, with no one to lead us to a brighter future fighting back against the zombies, people have fallen back to a dark life style. With few remnants of civilization left, you are left to your own devices to survive in an unforgiving landscape. SurrounDead is a third person game where you try to survive against zombies, as well as hunger and thirst by exploring and obtaining weapons, food, clothing and other related items. The player will start with a knife but they must equip it first and then press ‘3’ for melee and then RMB and then LMB to attack the only problem is while you do attack the zombie the zombie can hit you during this stage so try to use ‘C’ for dodge.
Graphically the game is very good and has a quick tutorial as well. There is HUGE potential for this game and I will look forward with every update. I have noticed at least in the tutorial that when using guns that the player has to drag the ammo clip each time to arm the weapon, clicking the ‘R’ key to reload did not reload the gun. first playthrough I spent about 2 hours playing, all I see it needing is Multiplayer. At the moment everything feels engaging, the loot can be quite surplus but aye just don’t take what you don’t need, another aspect I found neat was you can stack backpacks inside backpacks to initially get more storage its quite nice but can be stressful to look through. the gun play and movement feels nice (you can change third person view to first person in the settings and tweak the offsets and angles) The photo mode was just mind blowing you can capture some crazy clean shots and edit them how you please with the built in editor.
- Travel through a desolate post apocalyptic landscape.
- Fight zombies and possibly worse.
- Find many different firearms, melee weapons and equipment.
- Trade with survivors in trader hideouts or safe zones to get that one piece of equipment you need.
- Barricade buildings or find your self somewhere in the wilderness to escape to.
- Loot varied locations to improve yourself, but be aware of your surroundings.
- Weather and day/night cycles, be careful.
- Manage your stats to stay alive.
