The Breadmaker Direct Download
Welcome to “The Breadmaker”, a short visual novel / point and click style game that invites you to experience the simple joy of cooking. Each day you’ll be given a list of ingredients to collect that will help you create a fun new recipe! The kitchen will be fully stocked and you’ll be guided every step of the way by our state-of-the-art automated instructor! That’s right, while many of our aspiring cooks are still being taught by our human instructors, you’ll be in our brand new program featuring automated instruction! We’re still in the early stages of the program so she’ll be asking you lots of questions to learn your likes and dislikes, and how best to instruct you each day. I really appreciate how fast they got back to me and shows they really care about the players experience. Now that I have been able to play-through the game here are my thoughts. This game did freak me out in a couple sections, the unsettling audio and the color direction definitely helped with it.
The story is interesting and there seems to be more ending than the couple I have gotten myself so it definitely has replay value. The only thing is I wish that there were achievements so I could know how many endings there were and what kind of ending it is. Even if they were secret achievements that would be nice. I do recommend giving it a shot if you want a short horror game experience with a lot to offer. There’s definitely a way to get an ending in the game, but your first choice is crucially important it seems the other choice ends up leading to a stuck run when you choose an investigative ingredient instead of a chefly ingredient it seems like your run is doomed. There seems to be secrets in this game which is why I really wish the creator would have made achievements to use as a checklist to make sure you full cleared it I honestly know I didn’t because there’s a suitcase and I honestly don’t remember seeing any numbers in any of my play throughs.
The Breadmaker Pre-Installed:
he game is pretty great though the voice acting is wonderful and the ending you can get fits the game/all the clues you find as you play through multiple times, but I wish I could have 100%’d it I just don’t feel like I did even after choosing the PERFECT ingredients. good short and sweet game that uses its available tools well. My main issue is that I wish there were a way to track which endings you’ve seen or even how many there are. Looking forward to what the dev cooks up in the future! This game had potencial to be a really good game. Story is interesting, endings are fun. Graphic are good. The game’s problem is – it is buggy as hell. Statues graps you and you became stuck. Exit from tunels stuck you All in all, don’t think of it as a Resident Evil like or a direct remake of the original – it is more of a tribute-shaped-like-an-imitation than anything else, a celebration of what made the original game great, adapted to modern sensibilities and modern audiences, and loaded up with multiple vectors for replayability.
