The story and exploration add a lot to the game, but the achievement design give you a lot of incentive to replay the game a couple of times. Combat especially on the higher difficulties is intense without being unfair. The way that you have to balance upgrading weapons with getting ammo and healing items is interesting and allows for different approaches to the challenges in the game.
The Dark Story Pre-Installed:
An amazing remake with a great presentation. The visuals alone are worth playing the game. In this setting the engine can show off how good it can look even better than in the two city based RE remakes before. The story is amazing, and the graphics even better than the play station version. The story mode itself takes around 20 hours to complete, but there’s also collectibles, different levels of difficulty, and even an unlockable gamemode for after you finish the original. Again, I love this game. Definitely worth the price, no doubt. I decided to start with this latest entry. Rift Apart was a blast to play through! Controls are fluid, the platforming is tight for the most part, the graphics are amazing, and the weapons are unique and fun to use.
