Multiple locations The forest is more than a forest. Find multiple locations and see what they hide. First off to take point of the other 2 reviews, this game is early access, not a full release. Also this game is *not* to be avoided at all costs, just cause one person couldn’t stream it. Flaws like this are to be expected when a game like this releases, if you expect a perfect version, your expectations need some re-considering. The horror and Ai is… well, lackluster to say the least. Some jumpscares are spooky, the general atmosphere needs some tuning with sound design. The monsters, as far as i have met them, are easily cheesed if you’re playing as 2 people, which i think is a shame, but something that can be fixed.

However, I did run into some game-breaking issues. On two separate playthroughs, I lost items in my toolbelt. Another bug I ran into, which I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but it felt like one, was the EMF reader was either see-through or you had X-ray vision while looking at it. Most of the VR interactions are of the point & click variety. Want to open a door? Point your laser at it and click trigger and then it opens. Want to read a note? Same. You walk but it feels like you’re gliding through the air, regardless if you’re walking over water or a grassy area. No footstep sounds or anything. I felt I was too low to the ground as well, whether I played seated or standing You can technically play seated, but the toolbelt will be a nightmare to deal with and you’ll be too low to the ground.
