After his sister-in-law died in a terrible accident, his brother became surly and secluded himself in the farmhouse where he had lived with her, he became obsessed with old stories and the idea of bringing her back to life. Two weeks after receiving a strange letter she decides to go to the farm to talk to her brother. When she arrives she doesn’t find him and there is only an old box where inside there is a shiny stone with strange symbols. When he takes the stone everything changes and he is immersed in a nightmare from which he cannot escape. Immersive experience: atmospheric and photorealistic graphics that intensify the horror experience. Gameplay : This game is mainly of the walking simulator” genre with puzzle elements. Psychological horror: The game will seek to trick and scare you. The madness of death is a short game that lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. I enjoyed the game a lot besides the couple bugs.
I would have liked it if there was a bit more depth in the story but i can’t wish for everything xD Overal scary and good jumpscares. The fear of darkness feature made the game more interesting. Maybe make it a bit more difficult to stay in the light so that the game gets more challeging and difficult. see here my playthrough! It’s really buggy. The batteries are gone in seconds, I was stuck between the rocking chair and the closet in the living room. I almost died IN THE LIGHT of the little lamp next to the fireplace (I think the little space between is bugged because of the shadow of the table. But it’s also a lot of fun to play. Most of the jump scares are really good. The puzzles are nothing special, but good enough. It’s a good atmosphere and runs I enjoyed it.

At first, the game started off slow, but trust me when I say it gets better the further you go. The limited resources for your flashlight really added to the overall suspense of the game. It was nerve-wracking trying to conserve your light while exploring the dark and creepy environment. But hey, that’s what makes it all the more thrilling! Now, let’s talk about the movement in the game. It’s definitely a bit funny, but I totally understand why it’s designed that way. It adds to the overall eerie atmosphere and makes the game even more unsettling. if you’re looking for a short game play experience that will leave you feeling spooked, then Madness of Death is definitely worth checking out.
