Graphics in the game are beautiful… and yes, I really mean beautiful for an indie game. While character movements still feel quite stiff, and the depiction of humans and ghosts lacks expression and can sometimes appear more like flat surfaces than true 3D models Objects like dolls, household furniture, or environmental… settings truly deliver a memorable experience. Even if you’re not Vietnamese, certain items will likely evoke a sense of nostalgia. They may even make you pause just to admire them and reminisce a bit. The gameplay of The Scourge includes puzzle elements. The puzzles? Easy, no stress at all. This might be an intentional choice by the developers, likely aiming to cater to casual players who might not want to spend too much time on puzzles and lose track of the storyline.
