The story begins as a “simple” journey through time following our two heroes Joe and Eva. They want to enter Source City where the life is good and there is no more suffering. As part of their trial to be allowed the entry to Source City, our heroes will visit multiple destinations in the history of their alternate Earth. However, as the story progresses you will learn that there is much more to the story than just time travel. Visit multiple locations each with their own unique characters and stories. Experience action, love, tragedy, mystery, and much more. Find out the mysteries of this alternate Earth and discover what reality is. Keep in mind that this visual novel is just a visual novel. There are no choices to make or minigames to play. First, before anybody is thinking I didn’t play the game, I’ve played it everyday since it came out and I completed it today. I’ll start with constructive criticism and end on what I think is fantastic about the game.
Would have liked to of seen a bit more polished character sprites. Their designs in general were great, however I think with the more polished and detailed backgrounds, the characters themselves stand out as a lessor quality despite their creativeness. Story has great pacing, showmanship and does great at building and then peaking at the end. Especially with two stories in a way. What an incredible twist to end the game. Honestly, it’s almost like a double twist. Maybe I’m just easily astonished, but it personally blew my mind. you play in third person mode and have a lot of action scenes – when you play as Trevor, be prepared to run, even though, your char even tells you, he doesn’t want to and stops at the most inconvenient moments… but you will have your chances, you get help from Angela. That is a great feature, when you are able to chose the CCTV option and let her put some objects out of the way or assist a bit. Parts with Angela as your char are in first person mode and full of stealth and well designed puzzles.

Exploring the beautifully rendered landscapes of Europe behind the wheel of my meticulously customized truck was unexpectedly relaxing. The attention to detail in the scenery is impressive, and the day-night cycle adds to the immersive experience. The game’s concept is simple: drive a truck, deliver cargo, earn money, and build your trucking empire. It sounds mundane, but the devil is in the details. The level of realism in “Euro Truck Simulator 2” is absurdly high. The game’s progression system is where it really shines. Starting from a humble beginning to eventually owning a fleet of trucks and hiring drivers gave me a sense of achievement that I never thought a trucking game could provide.
