Most importantly, Bungie knows this. They know they have lighting in a bottle, and over the years it has been proven that however much the very vocal Destiny community likes complain of things, they will still continue to put in hundred upon hundred of hours. If you understand that, then you’ll understand why the game is monetized and priced the way it is.
