The Walking Trade is an upcoming post‑apocalyptic store management and survival simulation game developed by Microwave Games and published by PlayWay S.A., released on March 5, 2026 for Windows, macOS, and Linux via Steam. In The Walking Trade, you run a shop in the middle of a zombie apocalypse where decisions matter just as much as survival skills. You’ll balance retail management, crafting, combat, and moral choices as you try to keep your store running — and your customers (and yourself) alive.

Shopkeeping & Economy: Set prices, design your store layout, stock shelves, and decide what to sell — from batteries and food to crafted weapons and supplies. Crafting & Upgrades: Unlock crafting stations to make new items, switch out shelves for better stock capacity, and build barricades and traps to defend your store. Survival & Combat: Your challenges go beyond business — zombie hordes can invade your shop, and you’ll have to use melee weapons, firearms, and makeshift defenses to survive raids. Staff & Scavengers: Hire fellow survivors to serve customers, guard the store, or scavenge for scarce supplies — but be mindful of their morale and equipment.
