Thought Experiment Simulator Direct Download
Thought Experiment Simulator Video Game Engage in a quirky, voice-acted exploration of philosophical dilemmas, where humor meets profound thought. It takes about 2 hours to finish. The game’s light-hearted and a bit absurd at times, seemingly going for a bit of the Henry Stickmin vibe. While the narration can drag on a bit here and there, I’d say this is a nice game to try if the premise is interesting to you. Just don’t expect much in the way of serious interactivity in the many thought experiments for the most part. A fun game that introduces many philosophical concepts and philosophers. Even if you are already familiar with these concepts, you can still have a good time playing through all the unexpected scenarios. The quirky narration, art style, and sound effects work really well here. As the developer’s first game, it is very solid and polished (the juice!!!). Excited to see more in the future!
Ever pondered the Prisoner’s Dilemma or wrestled with the Trolley Problem? This game takes these classic conundrums and lets you experience them in the most bizarre, yet fascinating ways possible. The educational value is surprisingly solid. You get a real understanding of these philosophical concepts, albeit through some of the most ridiculous scenarios imaginable. If you’re trying to convince your parents that this game is more than just mindless fun. point out the thorough explanations provided. Just make sure to hide that “skip” button from them! The game also pays homage to some iconic games. There’s a nod to a certain fruit-dropping game where you combine them 2048-style, and a tribute to the dino game you play when your internet is down (yes, there’s a way to play it without cutting your connection, but that’s a tale for another time).

And who could miss the reference to the infuriating game where a man in a pot wields a hammer to climb obstacles? Before you know it, you’ll be quoting them during hangouts with friends. Who knows, maybe you’ll become such a philosophical savant that they’ll include your own thought experiment in Thought Experiment Simulator 2. Now, wouldn’t that be a thought experiment in itself? This game was such a blast, I loved everything about it from discovering new cute Philosopher visual portraits to finding out how a bunch of my favorite thought experiments would be represented and challenge the player through gameplay! The narration was fun, the gameplay was fun even though I usually stick to left click read visual novel gameplay, and all the easter-eggs with achievements were very cute! I love how many minigames there were, and I really enjoy how each thought experiment had some prologue to it that set the stage, explained the deeper meanings, and showed the voice of some influential figures throughout Philosophy’s history.
