About The Game
Time To Stop Time is a first-person superhero action. You’re given the power to control time and a huge responsibility to save every innocent person from the imminent danger. There is a limited time to analyse the situation and navigate through a storm of falling debris, bullets and explosions. Choose your own solution for each situation and find the most creative way to resolve an imminent crisis! Change the trajectory of moving bullets to send them back. Throw and move different objects to create a path or improvised weapons. You’ll encounter floating textures and general texture clipping. The controls don’t feel tight, collision detection needs to be improved and the UI shows mixed keybindings for controller and keyboard even if a controller/gamepad isn’t even plugged in.
Furthermore the difficulty curve is all over the place. The voice acting is very poor and there are games where this is done deliberately that present the bad voice acting in a way that makes it funny (f.e. the CoD parody “Duty Calls” etc.) however here, it’s just plain awful for the most part. One of my biggest gripes is that time doesnt completely stop, making it next to impossible to set up really cool chain reactions all over the map. The ability to stop time completely does exist, but uses too much energy to allow for prolonged usage, which is a shame, because I feel like setting up big chain reactions seems to be one of the main lures of a timestop game.
