About The Game
You explore the place and when you get inside of the empty cabin a guy next to your stall askes for some toilet paper. I have recently reviewed Security Booth and I have to say Toilet Chronicles is very similar in the sense that the game takes place in a confined space only. However, as opposed to the other title Toilet Chronicles tries to be really funny and – in my humble opinion – most of the time it manages to do so. Initially, the game seems to be all about pooping but as you try to do your job your neighbour contacts you and asks for some toilet paper. And this is where things become interesting as given how you decide to reply / act you can get many different endings. If you feel like you’ve failed there’s no worry as following the end credits you’re back when you started with the game calling your new walkthrough as a new attempt at doing a number 2.
You have a handful of endings you get to explore with some additional hidden ‘cheevos. Some of these are references to other pop-cultural things be it a cartoon or a famous song. It’s pretty funny! They could use some new endings or locations and I had issues with the vsync (it is non-existent) but these are issues I attribute to the game’s recent release. It’s a title I usually label as jolly good so if you have an hour or so free time give this one a try. If not then you’ll remain a party pooper! When you get out of the cabin, you notice that the escape door is gone… Now you have to find out if that guy trapped you, or is he trapped with you..?

Worst still, all three of your character’s main abilities are weirdly unsatisfying. Gliding is slow, ponderous and ungainly-looking, with no winds to ride. Your hoverbike is also sluggish, and it has no weight to it, so collisions just send you bobbing about like a bath toy. And when it comes to climbing, player-character and environment seem mismatched: Sable (the name of the character as well as the game) can regain stamina standing on horizontal surfaces, and spend it climbing vertical surfaces. However, massive swathes of the game-world are at a slant, resulting in plenty of areas where Sable doesn’t know if she’s meant to be standing or climbing, and jitters between the two.
