I haven’t played a single point and click adventure game in years, since I was a kid, and Tourist Trap feet like the perfect way to get back into the genre. It’s got all the charm and humor the genre is known for, with a very distinct creative voice that is made obvious in its themes and plot. The visual presentation is stellar too, with super bright colors you’d think don’t work together, but make for some striking moments and locations. The game’s a bit on the shorter side (took me around 2.5 hours), and the puzzles range from very simple to actually being quite challenging. To me however, this was a feature, as it gave me the same kind of bitesize, condensed satisfactio.
