Tower Factory Direct Download
Tower Factory is a game where you have to build a factory that allows you to create enough towers to defend yourself from enemies. You’ll need to find and destroy the enemy castle before it becomes too powerful and its monsters overwhelm you! Create a factory from scratch in each game, gaining access to more resources and new buildings over time. How? With conveyor belts, indeed! Construct and upgrade suitable towers to fend off enemies who will come during the day but mostly… during the night! Clear the fog in search of the enemy castle, treasures, and (very importantly) more space to build! The look and feel of the game is vibrant, cheerful with a great colour pallet, and crisp graphics. The animations, and sound add a good amount of enjoyment and satisfaction as you plop down new factories, towers and conveyor belts to feed your ever hungry supply chain. Tetris Forever
Enemy variety is plentiful, and I was happily surprised with new enemy types appearing the longer I played each map. The enemies are also colourful, and well animated. The challenge ramps up fairly quickly, but becomes mostly manageable as you learn the game, gaining experience building more efficient factory setups, or spending coins to upgrade towers and passives strategically. Though the enemies are varied, they lack mechanics beyond having more health, being faster, or having additional over health like shields and armour. They lack any actions that they can take on your towers for variety, and you also can’t click on them to learn more about them, such as how much armour or HP they have, which is only identified by similarly sized bars, regardless of enemy health. These adjustments would be great for players that like optimize their damage and maximise break points.
Tower Factory Pre-Installed:
Throughout each mission you can earn coins that can be used to purchase upgrades, however many of these upgrades felt underwhelming, and I rarely wanted to spend additional coins on them. This is particularly evident in the tier 2 items, as you don’t really need to get to tier 2 in most cases to beat a map, and certain towers are clearly just better than others, and shouldn’t be upgraded. There’s also no ability to upgrade factories or towers during a mission, often making early towers redundant and needing replacement. This micromanagement is tiresome in the late game, as you lose most of your resources when you sell an older tower, and I’d much rather invest supplies in making those old towers more useful in the mid and late game.
