Toy Tactics is a very interesting twist to the realtime strategy genre. With its simple and original way of controling your units and its goofy and comic narrative, it brings me back the joy of games such as Worms or Pikmin. I love strategy games, but I have to confess I don’t play them much anymore, as I don’t have time to invest in learning complex systems. The simplicity I mentioned before is one the things that attracted me about Toy Tactics. Now that I am reaching the end of the first campaign, I think there’s also a lot of depth and things to master. It is, without a doubt, one of the titles I’ve been following the longest and now that it has finally arrived I can say that it has done so in an unbeatable way.
