Failure is part of the journey. Scattered throughout the levels, fuel cells replenish your rocket’s propellant. Keep an eye out for them, especially during those precarious maneuvers.
Shimmering gemstones are hidden in nooks and crannies. Collect them to unlock bonus levels or customize your rocket’s appearance. Temporary bursts of speed propel your rocket forward. Use them strategically to dodge obstacles or reach distant platforms. These rare devices flip gravity, allowing you to soar upside-down or cling to ceilings The combat is extremely fun and satisfying, but some of the boss levels need their difficulty balanced – The twin samurai and rope swinging lava floor man are major frustrating roadblocks. I found myself 30+ attempts in on both of the boss levels, to which I haven’t even gotten past lava floor man…let alone get the dude below half health. The samurai are doable, but the fight is just 3 or so minutes of slashing at them and blocking their attacks.

It’s a shame. I really, really enjoyed the two levels leading up to him. I’m afraid of what the high level bosses will be capable of if I ever make it past this guy. Additionally, the merchant shops need significant improvements, such as offering better items and more gold, to make visiting them more interesting and viable. I would love the ability to change the starting deck and have more ways to upgrade our cards The more you play, the more you unlock, adding depth beyond simple deck-building.
