This is more than a race and bigger than any battle. It’s the ultimate test of your favorite TRANSFORMERS’ robot abilities, which will decide the future of Cybertron! Honestly of the latest Transformers games this one is pretty good. Shockingly fun, a great concept, fun level design, the characters are well balanced but unique enough for you to have a preference for who to play as depending on your style of play. I do wish however putting out a game like this that they considered some online multiplayer. It’s a fun game but they length of playtime is going to be limited unless they plan on continuing to update with new tracks and characters, but I doubt that. Would like some more content to come later but otherwise I genuinely enjoy it. I quickly realized that the best way to play is NOT trying to stay ahead of the pack the whole time, but rather stay WITH the opponents and cause as much ruckus as you can during the trials.
TRANSFORMERS Galactic Trials Pre-Installed:
The characters’ designs are classic and clean (I mean come on, it’s the Transformers), the map graphics could use some polish, but I personally don’t mind the art direction, and the game play loop itself is surprisingly fun. There are some gripes I have against the movements and especially the jump pads during the PvP/PvE portions of the races, which I hope it is tweaked soon to be less awkward, but the overall presentation is rather enjoyable for the time being, though this depends on the future and the updates to come. It’s a bit too early into the release of this game to perfectly say how I feel about this game other than I hope to see more improvements in quality and execution, because otherwise the presentation is 10/10 for me.
