About The Game
Players of Ultimate Protector need to protect a goddess statue from a large number of monsters which attempt to destroy it. At the meantime, in return of the protection, the goddess will offer “gift” which is able to upgrade the skill and weapon of the avatar. There is no complicated control on this game, use WSAD to move and doge the monsters, all weapons are used automatically. Destroy the monsters and the experience gems will be collected by the goddess automatically and when it reaches a certain amount, the goddess will send out a “gift”, move close to it and upgrade the weapons. Meanwhile, there are 5 elements and to combine different element with weapons, super weapons will be created. Also, if you are lucky enough, some super weapons are able to combined again and generate HPYER weapons.
I’ve been hearing about Gone Home for years now. I’ve heard about how important it is, how great the storytelling is, and how much of a walking simulator it is, especially when that wasn’t such an established genre. What I was not prepared for was how sweet it was going to be. Sure, there’s a halfhearted veneer of supernatural spookiness, but that fades to the background the second a more grounded mystery comes into focus. The story told through the game’s oh-so-earnest voice overs pulls at the heartstrings more than it ever tests your nerves. While that fully voiced thread might be the most obvious one – despite being just as completely at the mercy of your own chosen pace and ordering – there are also two or three other plots that can only be pieced together through more environmental elements. As vital as these elements are to the game’s personal and lived in atmosphere, they do also provide clues of their own to pour over.
