Survive a multitude of fights and gamemodes in this Hack and Slash Arena ARPG. Play as one (or all!) of the many unique characters, each with their own strength, weaknesses, weapons and abilities. Upgrade, personalize and finetune your characters, overcome different challenges and bossfights to create the most powerful team of gladiators to date!Valor features different arenas, each with their own set of challenges. A change of scene is not just that, but also brings along new enemies and environment-specific obstacles and strategies. Every environment ends in an epic bossfight (classic!) where you’ll have to prove your worth and understanding of the game’s mechanics. Each challenge will require you to identify the best strategy, characters and weapons to complete it. In Valor, all skins are earned through achievements. On top of that, you’re able to customize your particle effects, further adding to the customization possibilities in the game. Battling in style really reflects your achievements.
As your gladiators level up, you’ll be able to dig into their upgrade trees to make the most of their abilities. You’ll also unlock various runes with special effects that can be equipped by any of your gladiators. Are you the master of innovation with all the different combinations of runes? You can choose from three gladiators, with the fourth gladiator being purchased with in-game gold. Because you can just go around the arena and shoot at adversaries, the archer is the easiest pick. You fight your way through four worlds, with a boss at the end. Each planet has five levels, usually with one of three goals: eliminate all foes, stay alive, or entertain the crowd (kill enemies with special attacks). Combat is simple. You have three unique skills that recharge quickly and a basic attack. I’m missing some sort of audible cue that indicates when the ability is ready. Now you’re required to keep an eye on the bottom of the screen where you can find a health bar and three special ability icons. I find the placement a bit problematic because it’s hard to see or target enemies coming from the bottom.
Valor Direct Play:
Difficulty changes the number of affixes, which is just a fancy word for traps and modifiers. These are random and different every time you play a stage. Some of them are saws flying across the arena and stronger foes. The good news is that purchasing gadgets with coins can make things a little easier. The bad news is that they are extremely expensive and must first be unlocked by finishing a world. Combat earns you cash and experience points, which you can spend to upgrade your special skills and basic attack. Leveling up is quick; in the first world, you can already upgrade about half of the skill tree. Another item you can use is runes (max. 2). They are obtained by defeating a boss, and the quality of them is determined on the difficulty level.

- Double click inside the Valor folder and run the exe application.
- Thats all, enjoy the game! Make sure to run the game as administrator and if you get any missing dll errors, look for a file named All In One Runtimes.exe run this and install it.
