The collective goal of survival shapes the narrative, creating a sense of purpose that extends beyond mere monster evasion. Every decision feels like a step closer to something more profound. great addition which I missed everytime I replayed the first game, basically if you already loved the original you won’t be disappointed and might just love the remake even more. The way you can make a bullet interact with any object is impressive. Everything is destructible and very real. Basically Control makes you see and do the surreal in a realistic way. This is a difficult game to review for me, I would still recommend it but I think the original game is better. The movement is not quite as quick as the first one, specifically sliding on rails which feels slower than the characters run speed.

Crafting and base building is on the whole, a little pointless unless you are focused on XP grinding and weapon upgrades, but the upgrades you can add to weapons make hardly any difference.
