Wanted Shadows is Vampire Survivors X Action Gameplay A bullet heaven/horde survival set in a world where monsters fight over territory. Defeat monsters, power up with permanent upgrades, and become an unstoppable force. SYNERGISE | Build the ultimate loadout by choosing, merging, and upgrading weapons and trinkets. PROGRESS | Use the money obtained from runs to buy new characters, weapons, and permanent equippable powers. If there are two things I would change about it though they would be the fact that I can’t see my current upgrades mid run, so I have to try to remember all of the upgrades I chose in order to pick ones that go with the ones I already have.
There are several characters to unlock and play as, several secrets to unlock with benefits in doing so, several different types of weapons and non-weapons each with their own unique upgrades, several levels to play through, and more. You always start a level with one weapon, maybe two depending on the character you play, but as you collect the weapons and non-weapons you grow in power to the potential of absolutely obliterating enemies. There isn’t meta progression in the sense that you get permanent upgrades, but you do unlock items/guns that you can find on future runs which are generally better than the starting stuff. There is other progression such as unlocking npcs that can unlock more items or put special effects on your runs, and some character unlocks. The gunplay and boss fights are what makes this game so good.

Pretty much every fight is satisfying as you dodge around tons of stuff, which actually have good choreography and don’t diarrhea all over the screen in a way that’s unreadable. It is wonderful having so much variety when building a deck and the challenges that come with enemy match-ups. you’ll have the opportunity to unlock new passives which will make escape attempts a lot easier. Eventually you’ll gain items from characters and by equipping one of them, you’ll be able to shape what type of game play you want to go for.
