About The Game
is a game where the player must surf on (and do rad tricks off of) audio waves. The levels are procedurally generated based on the music track you are currently listening to. The player can perform a variety of tricks and chain them together into a combo. Land the combo to score points and compete for the high score. Think Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater meets Guitar Hero. Waveform Wipeout combines the fast paced action of pulling off a sick combo of tricks with the novelty of rhythm games. The levels are generated based on the song you pick, so the possibilities are endless. Dynamic track generation also lets you load any song from your hard drive and surf the waveforms! Interact with your music like never before.
Very fun rhythm game! I love that you can load any song you like and do tricks to your favorites. The in game search makes it super easy to find the song you want without having to leave the game and search for a link. Depending on your settings and music choice you can create a chill interactive music game or challenge yourself with fast paced harder runs. The arcade sounds and style is very nice and fits the game amazingly. One of the best music rhythm games I’ve played in the last few years. Love the arcade mode and the ability to play any song I want, makes for a very customizable gaming experience.

Very simple, very lovely. Could be considered overpriced but a few spicy additions to scoring could absolutely change that. The joy of this game comes from placing down a perfect piece in a perfect place to hear the pleasant ping of “quest complete”, and paired with a great artstyle and relaxed mood, it makes one hell of a combo. In the very light and soft way, of course. The scoring incentives directly encourage you to create nice looking environments, there are plenty of gamemodes to suit your every mood and need.
