No matter how many other games come out or years may pass, I keep coming back to this game. They all add up and keep increasing the overall enjoyment. It’s easy to pick up but hard to master. You can casually do one quest and have a good time or take a deep dive with hour long sessions, theory crafting and min-maxing. Boss fights, some ‘arenas’ that allow you to move in larger spaces, or where you can use some environment. Combat on hard tends to be hard and demanding. There’s actually a notification telling you that you haven’t used skills for some time and you might be forgetting. Jokes on you, game. I tend to forget to use the skills because they feel strangely forgettable despite many physical and visual effects they cause.

You can take pictures like a tourist of famous places. I spent a bit of time finding the Ghostbuster’s fire hall for instance, which I did eventually find. There was a decent amount of stuff to do that didn’t involve progressing the story along, but just interacting with the world, and you can get lost in it easily. The humour in the game is quite good too. The combat honestly I didn’t really feel was all that good from the beginning, and quickly felt like a chore that the game was constantly reminding me to do, with very little difference between each battle, and there are WAY too many of what I’m calling “random encounters” on the map, past the point of being fun anymore. fun and simple and good to just turn your brain off and play in the background while talking to your friends. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a game to play to kill time.
