“Whacking Hell!” is a frantic 2D top-down shooter with roguelite elements. The gates of hell have opened: whack all the monsters before they whack you! Collect their souls, ramp up your weapons and your spells, and become a slaughtering machine! Well, if you like this kind of art style you may enjoy this game, but still some of the core mechanic and combat system in this game that some people like and not like, In case you can try demo first that you like loop game play or not, and if you think a price is a little bit high than other game in this type of genre you can wait for steam sale period and check this out.
A Vampire-survivors like game, kill enemies, gain exp, level ups, what makes Whacking Hell difference from most of the survivors-like is the boss battle, which imo the most enjoyable part of the game, the boss has multiple move set and are quite challenging compare to other survivors-like game. The art style is also really appealing to me compare to other survivors-like game. If you can’t afford the price for now, you could wait for the sales period. There is no deviation from the pre-established template in the gameplay. The aim is to survive as long as you can, dodging enemies, gathering items, and gaining experience points. Action game expertise is not required to play this one because attack and aim are automatic. With the exception of the starting character and weapon, all other options must be unlocked first. Every character has a special power and benefit.
Whacking Hell! Pre-Installed:
There are three stages unlocked in order, and the goal is to survive for over 20 minutes and defeat two bosses. There are a lot of distinct and fascinating enemies in every stage. You can review every enemy in the bestiary. Gathering souls from vanquished opponents grants access to new abilities. You can enhance your current attacks or select a new one once you’ve collected enough souls. But since the three available skills are random, you might not always receive the one you want the most. On the other hand, the selection isn’t big so you can eventually grab everything. A bonus random perks can also be grabbed from chests that occasionally show up on the battlefield. However, because of its random placement, it sometimes shows up on the border of the map that can’t be reached. When you reach the ultimate tier of a skill’s upgrade, you’ll be presented with an option between two almost identical versions, each with an additional bonus to make the decision slightly more difficult.
