However, While The Iron’s Hot offers another type of experience, moving away from crops and farm animals (except for a nice ox) and focuses on crafting, specifically blacksmithing, and truth be told, it’s somewhat refreshing. Taking as our protagonist a wandering blacksmith, we’ll explore a world of master craftsmen, we’ll take up commissions and complete mini-games as we seek to forge our own legend. The plot begins with our protagonist, whose name is customizable, looking for a place to prove his blacksmithing skills to the world. As fate would have it, we find ourselves in the land of Ellian, where legendary craftsmen have been honing their skills for years, and who are waiting for us to judge our worth. As a first challenge, we’ll have to revitalize the forge of the almost abandoned village of Stal, which has the potential to become a thriving community if we manage to rise to the challenge.
