The game play is extremely strategic, fun and challenging. Don’t let the beginning levels fool you, this game is no joke. You’re not the only thing that’s gonna be hard when playing this.
I’ve seen in any hentai game. You don’t interact at all with the sex, however, you watch it like a movie. What’s fascinating about this is that there are multiple angels that you’ll be given while watching, so the sex scenes continue to keep your interest. The art and animation are exquisite. There’s fluids that keep showing up on the characters that make everything more arousing. You’ll see tears, saliva, sweat and all sorts of other fluids. The ending to the sex scenes are interesting because the character is still inside of the lady, however ♥♥♥ shows up and spurts everywhere. The aesthetic of the women covered in ♥♥♥ is great, however it is odd to see the man still inside. The game play is tough and challenging as I’ve said before I really like this because I’ve always hated that hentai games seem to be made for the lowest common denominator. I play hentai games because I like tits and ass as my reward, but that doesn’t mean that I want a stupid easy game. I despise when I see people say “just give me the sex”. This has been my gripe with hentai games in the past, but I see more and more developers caring about the actual game play and Secret Labo (these developers) seem to understand this as well. Be prepared to lose because you actually have to be quick to click and have a good strategy if you want to succeed in this game. There is a chill difficulty as well as a normal one, but I don’t know what the chill difficulty is like. I do know however, that I really liked the normal mode.

The main game takes place in the battle screen where you fight off waves of Yokai and try to survive. Upon beating a special Yokai you will then get to control them as one of your units in the battlefield. You start each level with a certain amount of Fragments, which are currency you’ll spend in order to place units on the tiles laid out in lane format. You gain fragments by killing off the enemies Pick Your Cards Wisely You can bring up to 6 Yokai to fight for you in battle. In order to strengthen them, you have to spend the same fragments to level them up (in battle only). What you choose to level up depends on the cards you draw. You draw 3 cards and from there you decide whether you want to spend your fragments on those. If not you can either redraw (which spends fragments) or wait for the deck to reshuffle. This deck is random up till the point you maxed out on a Yokai’s stat (hit points or attack or attack speed, upgrade), once a stat is maxed out, it will not appear anymore. I’ve Got Soul You also have souls which auto generates as the battle goes on. You can spend souls on Yokai Arts which are essentially abilities that you can use to attack on the enemy or further improve your Yokai. Apart from attacks for Yokai Arts, you can Evolve your Yokai to its final form, from then you can use a Power Stone (Yokai Art) to perform their special skill against the enemies. By evolving and using the power stone, it will increase Yokai’s affinity to you outside of battles.
