Still playing through this one, but I can confidently say this is a must-buy if you like old school survival horror, fps and retro aesthetics. devs created sense of depth and immersiveness in confined small levels by layering of simple gameplay mechanics on top of each other. masterful work for a indie dev, one of the best things I’ve experienced in 2-3 years. I have only played the first two levels but the game has a great atmosphere, great gameplay, and it’s scary! I got jumped a couple of times and it definitely spooked me. I played on the Steam Deck and it felt pretty good. I’d say the experience on PC would be better due to being able to aim and react quicker but it definitely runs well and works on the Deck.

There are a couple of puzzles that made me rattle my brain and had me slightly confused but I got the gist. There’s definitely hints placed around to guide you toward the answer for progressing. This is a fantastic sci-fi horror game that feels like a mix between Half-Life, System Shock, and The Thing with its gameplay, puzzles, and eerie environment. This arrived just in time for the Halloween season, so it’s a great buy if you’re looking to add to your horror collection.
