Search for new weapons to increase your chances of survival. An open world with absolute freedom, a truly huge map, and no mandatory immersion breaking mini games. You are forming a guerrilla army to liberate a Caribbean island from a dictator. As you grow in rank you get more privileges, NPC’s start to recognize you. The gameplay is goofy, but if you try to immerse yourself then its comparable to a horror game.
I enjoyed playing it very much, but story had a bit shallow ending and it could use some bigger and repeatable combat sequences. Very little time to try out all the options and play around with the guns and mods. Some more quests or worlds would be nice too. The universe has a lot more potential, I hope to see some more of it. DLCs were great, in story, setting and gameplay. I really enjoyed the in-game encyclopedia entries that unlocked during gameplay, and would always start each session by reading all the ones I had unlocked during the last one. There are are also some great Half-Life-style set pieces, which keep the narrative moving along, and are often quite funny The characters are interesting and varied, the world is well thought out, with a coherent lore and a deep backstory.

Despite the general zaniness, the levels felt like places, not levels, which, to my mind, is the best thing you can say about a video game level. each one unique powers. It was a lot of fun to play, and for me, I felt fine just finishing the story without being a completionist about all the hidden items – it’s nice to finish a game in under 200 hours every once in a while. When focusing on the main missions, you could easily spend between 40 to 50 hours depending on your way of playing. This is important because after playing that long in a game you just become integrated with your character, the other characters and the environment.
