This is a very cool game, I love the storytelling, and the actress has a very pleasant voice. The story unfolds in an interesting way, drawing me in more and more. It’s beautifully executed, with an excellent art style and awesome animation. It feels like watching a stylish animated movie in which you can take part. Thank you for the game, I really like it. I think this will be the first game I definitely want to get all achievements! The game is gorgeous, the voice actor is great and the game play is a simple connect-the-dots detective style that is mostly there to carry the story, which loosely reminded me of the same existentialist tropes found in ‘A Scanner Darkly’ and ‘Under the Silver Lake’.
Phoenix Springs Direct Play:
The hand drawn graphic style is great. Instead of the usual item collecting and figuring out where to use them like most point and clicks, you collect clues and connect them to progress. This feels like the perfect game for fall. A chilly afternoon spent solving a mystery with your beverage of choice. First of all I can’t believe I get to see my name in the end credits of such a work of art. Thanks for the extra key devs!! Now I will say that the mystery is so dense I didn’t get it all the first time so it won’t be for everyone. But I think I’m starting to piece it together and HOLY CRAP!! Now I will still prbably need a 10 hour long youtube video to explain it to me but I haven’t been excited about a game like Phoenix Springs for a long time!
