Pros: Where to bleeping start? First off. the humor in this game is next level. I find myself laughing my ass off every now and then, it just blindsides you with awesome jokes and commentary. There are references to popular games splattered all over the place. the tutorial doesn’t drive my insane which many games do. each and every townmember has their charm and I find myself loving every little interaction. Like there is this elderly doctor couple. after they help you with a quest you can have tea with them and hang out on their lawn to pass the time, I find myself doing this often just cause it’s nice to think you’ve made friends that leave an impact in the game… Frack what else? Ah the cooking mechanic. simplified but complext at the same time. you really have to plan out your meals if you are going to win big in this game. and some cooking contests even with my best combinations come close! anyone who says it’s a simple minigame doesn’t know what they are talking about! IT’s got fishing, Ratties swarming the docks. Yea lots of people hate rats. I love em. Raise them for a living irl in fact, so I kinda make it a point to never capture or cook rats in game [which you can do YOU MONSTERS] but so far, it’s not stopping story progression so run free my lil rattie friends!
