In Falsus is a rhythm game that binds its music gameplay to a story about deception and the cost of honesty. Set in a near-future society where a person’s true feelings are exposed at the throat and falsehood has become impossible, it follows five high school girls whose ordinary lives are interrupted when they are summoned into an unsettling government program. What begins as a strange obligation gradually pulls them toward a hidden layer of the world they thought they understood, and each girl carries her own version of what is happening. The narrative unfolds in a visual novel format, letting players move between all five interconnected viewpoints as the larger picture assembles itself. Up to five Cards can be equipped at once, each illustrated by a notable artist and depicting characters or narrative beats, giving players room to reshape their approach to difficult songs.
