CODE VEIN II is an action role-playing game set in a bleak future where humanity and the immortal Revenants share an uneasy coexistence. That fragile balance shatters when a phenomenon called the Luna Rapacis appears, stripping Revenants of their minds and reshaping them into savage creatures known as Horrors. The protagonist is a hunter trained to put those creatures down, though the scale of the disaster makes it clear that killing monsters one at a time will never halt the collapse already underway. The answer arrives with Lou, a young woman who can bend time itself and open a path into the years before the catastrophe. What follows is a long journey across a ruined landscape and the era that produced it, told through the people who lived, fell and were forgotten along the way. The central question is whether a doomed history can be rewritten at all, and what such a rewrite would demand from the ones who attempt it.

Exploration spans collapsed cities and older, intact versions of the same locations, hiding optional paths, equipment and lost records for the thorough. The result is a demanding but generous action RPG that pairs punishing boss encounters with deep customization and a narrative stretched across two timelines.
