This is a great little game to play for those who miss the old GTA top down games, it plays and handles well and was fun to play and not frustrating like a lot of these types of games can be. It consists of driving around and doing errands for people while you try and find out who killed your father. It also has a burglar mechanic where you can rob people’s houses which while basic was well done. The game has 3 small rural areas that you unlock as the story progresses, i would have liked a more urban environment to explore, maybe in the sequel. My first GTA game was Chinatown Wars on my iPod Touch. American Fugitive is really a modern take on those old top-down GTA titles. If you have played any of those, then you already know what this game looks like. The driving is solid, the gunplay is passable. The graphical design of the world is quite drab but similarly passable. The music was forgetable. The story was barebones but enough to keep me engaged for the full playthrough. Certainly a very interesting title to come out in 2019. If you enjoyed some of those early GTA titles, this should be an obvious pick-up for you. The game will run on a potato too, so thats a nice bonus.
