The Blood of Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy role-playing game set in a fourteenth century Europe that history books never recorded. Constant warfare has drained the continent, and plague finishes what the fighting started, leaving communities far too broken to defend themselves. Vampires read that weakness as an invitation and step out of hiding to seize the freedom and dominion denied to them for centuries, with other creatures of the night following close behind. Old folklore hardens into fact, and the shape of the known world changes with it. The story follows Coen, a young man caught partway through the transformation and left as a Dawnwalker, a being who belongs fully to neither daylight nor darkness. His family’s survival depends on the strength his curse grants him, yet every use of that strength drags him further from the person he was. The premise rests on one uncomfortable question: whether a soul is a fair price for the lives it might buy back.

Play splits into two distinct loops tied to the cycle of day and night, each with its own abilities, secrets and routes toward a goal. In human form, Coen fights with a blade and channels potent magic; after dark he becomes something far less bound by physics, tearing through opponents with supernatural force and movement. Both forms carry obvious strengths and blind spots, which rewards experimentation over settling into a single style. Time is the resource that matters most. The clock advances whenever a quest is accepted, and the family Coen is racing to reach has a limited number of days left, so helping one person often means abandoning another. Objectives can be rushed head on or worked through slowly with preparation, information and unlikely alliances. The hand-built open world spans lush forests, wide plains, treacherous swamps, steep peaks and medieval settlements, with forgotten ruins and remnants of an ancient civilization concealing truths better left buried. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, it opens a new role-playing saga where action and hesitation alike leave permanent marks on the valley.
