The music is usually a bop and the atmosphere of the school is overall very satisfying. I have complaints about this remake, but this is easily the best version of Corpse Party if you haven’t played it before. The game relies very heavily on the horror of the described events letting your mind do the visual work rather than trying to represent them on screen to mixed effect. This is usually fine but becomes a bit hard to sell as some more complex scenes will be represented by these goofy pixelated models with very little animation work and take you out of what’s happening. CGs are a necessary in a story presented with this type of gameplay, they should have added a lot more. It would really improve the experience.
