The story is cute, the main character is a bit funny at times. However as you play through the game you find the real themes of it…. also make sure not to miss the DLC campaign! It adds to the storyline in so many ways! Be ready to take out a box of tissues… Behind the Frame is worth it. It’s a touching a beautifully animated short story about love, loss and legacy told through paintings and artistry. Paintings here are also cleverly used plot device. This was an unbelievably beautiful game. It’s an emotional story and one well worth it. Truly, this game inspired a deep reflection in myself and my own choices. It’s not often that a piece of media can move me so much. I recommend this to anybody looking for a well done story, with all the feels. Stunning. No words can capture the feeling this game has left me with.

Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is certainly a beautiful game. From its vibrant and chill atmosphere to the gameplay, I enjoyed every moment of it, which left me surprised by its short runtime. The music across all six chapters and the engaging story that sits behind every puzzle flow naturally together providing a seamless experience. For a laidback and whimsical game, Behind the Frame can bring out the artist in all of us. The soundtrack is calm and fitting, and the main point of this game is definitely the beautiful animations that play as cutscenes. They truly look like they belong in an animated series or movie.
