I either whined enough that my parents bought me the game or I bought it with the measly amount of money I made working at a car wash in high school, but by god the game was one of my fondest memories of being a teen in the 90s. I knew the first level inside out and could clear the challenges in a single run. Skateboarding is created, Tony Hawk becomes Skate Messiah, promising his flock a world of unlimited skate potential with this 12 followers of the skate. In his hubris Tony invites Bam to the flock, believing he can contain his power. The world of skate is infiltrated by shopping carts and tourist dunking. Bam’s chaotic power manifests as the Dark One, taking the form of Eric Sparrow.

Tony finds the chosen one, the Custom Skater, who has the potential to defeat him. Custom Skater defeats the Dark One, Sparrow, who is reduced to a hapless, comedic role. Tony joins Custom Skaters side for one last battle against Bam, winner takes all. The timeline splits at the Battle of Skatopia. Hats, i dunno man, i would never skateboard without the safety gear, but honestly, they are kinda f-ugly, so… yeah… not on my character. tatoos, i didn’t like any aside from one, but imo i’m not a tatoo guy, so pass for me. facemask i liked the option, made my character feel like a ninja, which is a plus on my book. the skateboards are much more customizeable too and it’s a joy to make some awesome creations arround. from parks to skaters, to stuff alike. it’s great.
