Siberian Village is a game that will immerse you in the life of an entrepreneur from Siberia. Sell oil, create furniture at the sawmill, sell goods in the store and help the residents. One of the first mechanics in the game is selling oil. Load barrels of oil into your car and sell them at a refining station. You’ll also be able to improve the performance of your wells. Buy a sawmill and start producing furniture. Sell furniture on the contract system and earn money. You will be able to get a job at the post office. Deliver parcels to residents. Discover new professions: become a welder in the workshop or a cook in the canteen. Help the residents and get paid for it. Interesting tasks and stories from the residents will not let you get bored. A lot of accompanying mechanics for full immersion in the life of the Siberian village. The game is developed by one person and in each new update you will be waiting for new mechanics and improvements to the existing ones.
You will always be able to suggest your idea in a review or in Steam discussions. The path mechanics are a little frustrating at times, and the building system is incredibly complex Despite occasional hiccups, such as the need for object manipulation for optimal placement, the building process is generally seamless and rewarding. There’s also very few bugs that plague the gameplay. So far, I haven’t encountered a single o gamebreaking one. The level of customisation is great- putting individual plants in pots, changing designs on bedding and furniture (looking forward to them adding new patterns too!)- is all fantastic.And most of the buildings and rooms you find are enterable, with their interiors beautifully designed to immediately fill you with a sense of wonder and amazement. And the game also features different seasons, which completely change how these places look and feel.
Siberian Village Pre-Installed:
I particularly liked the fall season, but they all look beautiful and distinct. There’s a lot of customization options and most of them look good. And I also like that the character selection screen slowly gets filled up as you progress through the story and side content. The more you achieve, the cooler it looks. The story did not really grip me, and the main quest was the only thing that I ended up somewhat caring about. Same thing could be said for the characters, the vast majority are weak and forgettable. And pretty much all of the protagonist’s “friends” are pathetic losers whom you babysit. None of them are independent or capable of great things, they’re just there so you’re not alone in class. Even the quest rewards were often awful. Completing all the challenges gave me so many outfits that just made my character look like a clown.
