Everything good about the original Resident Evil games mixed with actual good shooting and controls plus a fresh new setting. I guess it could have some better puzzles, and one villain’s end seems to be saved for DLC, but other than that it’s a class A production across the board and worth its praise. ammo scarcity remains a concern, maintaining the survival aspect. the firearms complement this game well, much like the firearms of seven did to themselves. the lycan are particularly unique and agile, providing a fresh challenge compared to the zombies of previous games.

Your character can be equipped with cards, which grant active and passive abilities that define your playstyle better, and allow you to specialize to an extent The essence of the game remains true to its roots: hack zombies apart and hoard crafting materials, but with some refinements to the formula to give a tangible sense of having well and truly f*cked a zombie up. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is excellent, the mechanics are solid, and Bohemia Interactive has done an absolutely amazing job packaging this all together.
