So far, I played the game up to the arrival in Kanai Ward and the first Mystery Dungeon. Textures are improved in some areas (I assume generic textures from a library, e.g. ground textures) while bespoke textures for the game (like the train car walls) seem to be the same as in the Switch version (which were slightly higher than the display resolution). Character models, however are vastly improved and look very crisp and detailed. Together with the improved lighting and performance, the overall impression is great. You will have plenty to do in terms of side quests and if you’re eager you will find plenty extra as exploration, puzzles and capturing beasts. The open world is big, but not too overwhelming and you will have easy time moving around with your broom. The game excels quite a bit with it’s combat magic. There aren’t a lot of wizard games in the same sense, where you can go nuts and blast away utilizing elemental attacks and crowd control spells
