It’s not very enjoyable because the gameplay is now tied on farming for perks. Unlocking them all and resetting the game until you gain the “Currency” perk. This allows you to begin stacking x10 currency in stage 2 or 3. Now you just kite till round 4, then stack up all that currency by shooting the zombies’ legs and less essential parts until you have 50000 currency. You can keep doing this for as long as you need to, and then you’re ready to plow through the content.
Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 Direct Play:
It has really fun building mechanics/defense mechanics. The traps are fun to use, though some are OP. (All you need is this one trap with no upgrades to make it to round 100+) Traps are definitely the focus of the game and how to get to high rounds. I love that you can upgrade the traps also. guns are weak even fully packed out. I assume this is intentionally done due to it being a trap based game. The wonder weapons are pretty good though, there’s a better Winter’s Howl in the game (freeze gun), then you one tap frozen zombies. It works really good on the bosses too. I assume guns will be getting buffed with the ‘Slayer’ perk tree that’s set to come out.
