About The Game
Having followed the call of a mysterious crow, you find yourself trapped in The Hollow, a shattered mirror of our world plagued by a mysterious source of evil. Your only way home is to rescue the Drakes, rebuild their home, and drive out the enemies that have ruined their world. Explore, build and thrive together in this third person, coop, survival-building adventure. Play with 1 to 4 players. Go it alone, or recruit your friends to tackle the endeavors of exploring, building and defending. Rescue Drakes, build their homes, raise them, and reap the rewards of a thriving village. Keep the Drakes happy and healthy, and they’ll keep rewarding you more powerful buffs – and gifts, to boot.
Explore an endless procedurally generated world, populated by feral beasts and hazards. Build networks of waypoints to quickly traverse from place to place, and to ferry supplies back to your village. Expand and level up your camp to support your growing community. Add defenses to protect the village when away, and build increasingly productive improvements to provide food, water, and entertainment for your Drake buddies. Only do this one at a time though, because when I did (any) multiples, at least one would disappear. For the rest of the game I had very little choice for the most part but to not abuse this exploit as I was just chugging through weapons. The game throws scores of enemies the further the game goes on, and you’re breaking weapons left and right.
Drake Hollow Pre-Installed:
There’s many more issues with drake hollow, and it’s a game that makes me sad to see it dropped. Because this is just a game that needed more time in the oven. And the bramble beatdown was a great step in the right direction for the game. It’s kind of impossible to imagine playing this game before it honestly. It sounds so incredibly unenjoyable. I still wish the devs would continue to work on this game, because revisiting the design of various systems in this game could turn it into a real treat. I want to revisit this game and play online, and I want to recommend it to my friends really badly. But sadly this is a game I think only I will be playing. Despite everything, i’m still going to give this game a thumbs up, because there was enough good that I still made it to the end of the game, and overall still more or less enjoyed my time with the game. Just like Flame in the Flood.
