E.E.R.I.E is a game based on Touhou project . The three protagonists are Daiyousei,Kijin Seija,Ringo. They have their own special skills and attributes. Different from the general multi protagonist game, each protagonist has her own mission goal, factional relationship and stories. In addition, the three protagonists are hostile to each other. E.E.R.I.E has a huge arsenal including pistols, submachine guns, small caliber assault rifles, medium caliber MG, sniper rifles, shotguns and grenade launchers. Most of their are based on excellent military light weapons designed and produced around the world in reality. In addition, there is also the most realistic and rich firearms customization system in the current animation style games. While the firearms can be deeply customized, they can also be loaded with ammunition of different purposes. With various throwing objects, the combination of shooting technology and tactical strategy will become closer.
Enemies also drop either food items to heal yourself or more ammo. Once you got enough cash you can head to a shop “zone” and buy yourself a random item from one of several chest. The gameplay loop is there but the items you get from the boxes is completely randomized and it may severely hurt you depending on the rng. I wish it had an actual shop interface so you can buy what you want but oh well. There’s lots of guns you can buy along with plenty of attachments, healing items, grenade types, and special ammo types. Whats bad about this? It’s real janky. Bullets miss even if you are aiming point blank, your ironsight aiming mode flails all over the place, you’ll die from grenades over and over cause you can’t see a small black square sailing through a predominantly brown screen.
E.E.R.I.E Direct Play:
Again the randomness of the loot can severely hurt you if you aren’t lucky and you’ll often find yourself with a surpless of ammo for every gun but the one you are using. Your face when you are right next to them and they pass along, the AI throw granades and seems to investigate places where action or gunshots has been fired sometimes, but it needs much more work to make them functional and logical. the bosses have the damage really cranked up so if an enemy could take you down by firing 5 shots and hitting 3 and missing the other 2, the bosses have laser aim sometimes and they take you down so easily once they open fire on you and you are not behind any cover. The gameplay is pretty aight, you walk around an eastern bloc city, gunning down other girls with guns and are awarded money for each one.
