Created by the power of endless elements, the land’s life force has since dissipated, bringing about ruin to its inhabitants. In order to save this precarious world, Kaku must leave the only home he’s ever known and travel through the elemental land with his pig companion.
Can they regain the lost power and restore the land to its ancient glory? Based on the four elements of wind, fire, water, and earth, the game is set in an ancient fantasy world. Players take on the role of Kaku, a young man from the snowy mountains. He dreams of seeing the world beyond the horizon. In order to regain the power of the elements, Kaku must embark on an adventure with a magical flying pig named Piji after accidentally passing a test. Along the way, you’ll be tasked with finding the right equipment and mastering legendary skills. It’s now your destiny to face powerful monsters that have absorbed the power of the elements, and each of these areas has its own problems. The goal of Kaku is therefore to solve these problems in order to bring the elemental core back to the flying island and to solve the mystery.

As for the gameplay, it’s a third-person action-adventure game. You use melee and ranged weapons (clubs and slingshots) and different types of armor and shields to fight different types of enemies to achieve your goal. There is a decent variety of equipment and abilities, some of which change depending on how deep you are in the skill tree. Once we are in an area, we are basically free to choose the direction of our journey. As we go, we will come across ancient shrines where we will find small trials waiting for us that are specifically designed for that area and it’s theme. We will also be able to find Crystal Towers, which serve as fast travel points. The completion of these towers will reward you with items that are relevant to the story. In addition to the shrines and towers, there are also “Ponpon Camps” along the way. These are enemy camps waiting to smash your face, and sometimes they are protecting a chest.
